Public Verification

Privacy & Data Handling Policy

Data Sovereignty & Minimization

1. Data Collected by I-CIL

I-CIL collects and processes only the minimum data necessary to function as credibility infrastructure:

  • Pseudonymous Identifiers: Wallet addresses, I-CIL IDs, and Platform IDs.
  • Metadata & Hashes: Timestamps, signal codes, and cryptographic hashes of evidence envelopes.
  • Aggregated Scores: Computed numerical outputs representing professional history.

2. Data Never Collected

I-CIL strictly avoids the collection or storage of verifiable Personal Identifiable Information (PII) on its core infrastructure:

  • No real names or physical addresses.
  • No banking or financial details.
  • No raw biometric data.
  • No raw chat logs or contract documents.

3. Blockchain Privacy Protections

Data stored on the public blockchain is strictly limited to I-CIL IDs, Scores, and Timestamp proofs. No PII is ever anchored on-chain. Cryptographic hashes stored on-chain are irreversible and cannot be used to reconstruct the original documents.

4. Evidence Data Responsibilities

Raw evidence artifacts are retained exclusively by the submitting Licensed Platform. I-CIL acts as a pointer registry. Access to raw evidence is governed by the platform's own privacy policy and legal jurisdiction.

5. Retention & Deletion

Due to the immutable nature of the blockchain, on-chain records cannot be deleted. Off-chain data held by I-CIL may be deleted upon request, provided it does not compromise the audit trail of the public ledger.
