Public Verification

Terms of Participation

For Licensed Platforms & Agencies

1. Scope of Participation

These terms govern the relationship between I-CIL and any entity (the "Participant") licensed to submit signals, evidence, or metadata to the I-CIL infrastructure. Participation is a privilege granted via license, not a right.

2. License Grant

Subject to compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees, I-CIL grants the Participant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to accessing the Reporting APIs. This license grants access, not control.

3. Platform Obligations

  • Accuracy: The Participant warrants that all signals submitted are factually accurate and supported by evidence.
  • Reproducibility: The Participant must maintain raw evidence artifacts sufficient to reproduce any submitted Evidence Envelope hash upon request.
  • Canonical Compliance: Submissions must strictly adhere to the I-CIL Data Taxonomy and Evidence Specification.

4. Strictly Prohibited Actions

The Participant shall not:

  • Attempt to artificially inflate or deflate any influencer's score.
  • Submit dummy or test data to the production ledger.
  • Coerce influencers by threatening unjustified negative signals.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the breakdown of credibility weights.

5. Audit & Verification Rights

I-CIL reserves the right to audit the Participant's evidence records to verify the validity of submitted signals. Failure to produce evidence matching a submitted hash constitutes a material breach.

6. Suspension & Termination

I-CIL may suspend API access immediately if the Participant is found to be in violation of the Ethics Code or if their Credibility Score falls below the minimum threshold required for reporting.

7. No Ownership of Scores

All calculated scores, indices, and aggregated data generated by I-CIL remain the sole property of I-CIL. Participants retain ownership of their raw evidence artifacts.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, India.
